This place has mainly rude employees who are unwilling to help make condescending jokes to elderly customers and more.
The office in Farminton Hills few miles south is dramatically different with helpful smiling employees.
To be honest this facility needs a complete switch of management and employees.

The Farmington Mi location is the absolute worst USPS I have ever dealt with. They have always completely messed up every single one of my delivery’s. They are very unprofessional, and ghetto. I pay for shipping, and they lose my package or fail to deliver every single time I use USPS. If I had a choice I would never use USPS. They wont even bother coming to the door with the package because they are too lazy. I have specifically watched from inside the house how they did not even attempt to deliver my package they just placed a notice for redelivery in my mail box. Even when speaking to the manager she was completely unprofessional and no one knew where my package went. They are just never pleasant do deal with and they always let me down. Even if I reschedule for redelivery they never deliver on the date they promise and they also will not leave any package at the door without signature! Even if I sign and check the box for not requiring authorized signature! Like I work for a living you except me to be home? Instead I have pick up every single one of my packages after I already paid for shipping?? It’s an absolute joke.
They also have issues with delivering mail to the correct address too.
Was supposed to get a package yesterday. Showed it out delivery by 8pm. We got an inch of snow.. 7:06 they didn't deliver citing "no access". We live 50 feet from a main road. I'll pay extra for ups or fedex next time. I truly wish the post office would just be gone. They've been slowly dying my entire life... Just give it up already. Least dependable parcel delivery service by far.
Have not received my mail for 4 days. No one answers at this place! after calling over 20 times someone answered saying our mail person was out for a few weeks and they did not have someone to take their route but our mail would be there that day. It never arrived! Currently on call 20 in a row to reach out to them again with no answer! called the 1-800 # and they directed me to my local post office and said they will have a case open but can take 7-10 days to be resolved! We have mail that needs to go out and have bills and money that needs to come in! HORRIBLE PLACE!!
This post office is beyond ridiculous. These people work for the government as well as the communities they serve, and they could care less about how they do their job, let alone how they service the community. When you go into the office they are rude, slow and act like they don't care, I'm HUGE on excellent customer service and you get neither from the office or the carriers. They deliver the mail most times late or sometimes NOT at all. My magazines come to me torn and missing pages, my packages are NOT delivered as the tracking dates state they never have answers. I know HATE is a very strong word, but i HATE that my mail comes from this office.
