Great police department. The money they raise through the West Bloomfield Police Foundation is awesome, and how they give back to the surrounding community with that organization.

terrible!!! I called them when a salon in their town did a credit card fraud on me and was told basically to piss off and that since I live in Madison heights, i'd have to file a report there so I go to the Madison Heights police whose kindly desk sgt told me i'd been lied to by the lazy ass WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP P.D.
My son and business partner do plumbing and while finishing up an estimate for a client 5 cars pull up. Guns out tell them to put their hands in the air and cuff them. For what? Doing an estimate? So now it's illegal to work and earn an honest wage. I respect that people are looking out for neighbors. I respect that the police arrived in a timely fashion. What i have no respect for is pulling out your weapons and convicting someone before they can even defend themselves. Guilty before proven innocent. I am filing a complaint. Wouldn't you. This nonsense has to stop somewhere. They were let go once the owner confirmed their work. But they could have done this without the guns and cuffs for 2 weaponless young men.
BTW the salon who facilitated this credit card fraud is called John Anthony
I appreciate their work skills and ethic, their patriotism and service, as well as their sacrifice.
I found the WBPD very professional and responsive in every contact I had with them. I also was impressed with their initiative and proactive attitude when things seem in question.
